Any formula to merge 2 cells in a column?

I've been doing this manually and it's taking time for me to do so.
Can you please help in doing these 2 using the sample file attached?

    1. Formula to merge cells in Column A if the Project # is the same
    2. Formula to undo the merging if I had to refer to each cell in Column A

    hope you could help me

    Hi marqz,

For merging you need to rely on vba (macros) as formula can not merge cells... thanks.

    Hi DILIPandey,

So if I've activated that, what should the commands be for that specific scenario?

There is nothing to be activated.

vba code( macro ) can be included in a module and then you can run that macro using F8 key. Thanks.
