I am having trouble constructing a spreadsheet to track weights of equipment (cameras, computer, etc.) when I travel. I need to value the items in pounds and ounces, but don't know how to state the formula. Thank you

Assuming Range A1:A20 has lbs part of the weight and Range B1: B20 has Oz part, then the following will give you total weight:
