I have a workbook with multiple sheets. I would like to protect both the structure and window, but when I do this the sheet tabs are no longer visible when I reopen the workbook.

Hi John,
Somehow I've screwed something up. When I first used Alt F11 to open the VBA editor, in the upper left I only saw 'sheet 1' listed. 'This Workbook' did not appear. I was going to send you a screenshot, but I fooled around with it and then ended up with nothing but the ribbon over a blank grey screen. Now every time I click Alt F11 that's all I get!
I managed to figure out what I did wrong in the VBA editor. As for the problem of the disappearing tabs, it seems to be related to exactly how I have opened and maximized the view before I protect the window. It doesn't always do exactly what I expect, but I can get it to work with trial and error.
glad you managed to figure out...!
