Sounds easy but how to do this?
I would like to have a box of merged cells and allow users to type information in that box. I've tried a text box but when I lock the sheet it locks too. I've tried unlocking the text box but then it does not allow me to type in the box at all. I've tried wrapping the text in the merged cells but when I hit enter only the top line shows. Hmmm! I'd be very appreciative of some help.
Not really sure what you want (perhaps show a sample?) but I would advise against using merged cells for any reason at all, if at all possible - they cause all sorts of problems with formulas
1. Use code tags for VBA. [code] Your Code [/code] (or use the # button)
2. If your question is resolved, mark it SOLVED using the thread tools

I've attached a sheet to show what I'd like - I'm sure it can be done without merging the cells - but would like the text contained and scrolling across limited cells such as in this sheet.
OK so maybe this is 1 of those few times when merging is an option to consider. But also use "wrap text"
