Post Conditional Formatting based on date

I am running Microsoft office 2007. I am trying to change the cell back color based on the date. I have cells with dates which expires 4 years after the dates. And I want to change back of those cells to green if the dates are under 3 years and 10 months. After 3 years and 10 months until 4 yrs, it should change to yellow and finally, if it exceeds 4 years than it should change to red. I tried to find it online I could not find it. Please Help me out with this.

    Maybe post a sample workbook?

Re: Conditional Formatting based on date

spreadsheet.jpg On course 1. The expiration date is 4 years after the date on the cell which needs to turn red if the date exceeds four years from the cell date. If the cell date is more than 3 years and 10 months but less than 4 years, than it should turn yellow and before that date should be green. Thank you.

Sadly, that is not a sample workbook, it is a picture of a sample workbook.
