Typically, Excel will add a sheet to the current workbook and populate it with the source data details for the pivot table cell that was double-clicked.

It will show the break-up of the relevant sub data points.
You will get the supporting data as a table in different sheet.

Mm. I see. I was asking because a total count of the source was different than the total count of the new sheet. It turns out that was because I put a filter on the pivotTable.
