insert new row in other sheets based on cell value

Guys,

I'm working on a spreadsheet that multiple sheets in it. I need to insert some blank rows in multiple sheets based on the value of a cell on the 1st sheet.

An example:

Sheet 1
C1 - How many wheels would you like to order? D1 - 3
C2 - How many rims would you like to order? D2 - 5

Sheet 2
Insert number of rows that is = to Sheet1!d1 starting at A5
insert number of rows that is = to Sheet1!d2 starting at A7

Sheet 3
Insert number of rows that is = to Sheet1!d1 starting at A5
insert number of rows that is = to Sheet1!d2 starting at A7

Sheet 4
Insert number of rows that is = to Sheet1!d1 starting at A5
insert number of rows that is = to Sheet1!d2 starting at A7


Sheet 5
Insert number of rows that is = to Sheet1!d1 starting at A5
insert number of rows that is = to Sheet1!d2 starting at A7

Welcome to the Forum. Can you post a sample file with some dummy data? To attach a file, push the button with the paperclip (or scroll down to the Manage Attachments button), browse to the required file, and then push the Upload button.

I have attached an example sheet. This is of course nothing but dummy data, but would still serve my purpose.

This looks at Column B for the value to insert. Try it, then we can modify from there.

I entered the values into column B, but nothing happened when I went to the other sheets.

It worked when I tested it on your sample file? At least it did something. I'm not sure if it is what you are after. Are the sheet names the same?
