pulling data from web with dynamic url

Hi,

I've looked around for solutions to this problem all over online, and have gotten close answers that somewhat work, but nothing that I can make work in my scenario.

I basically want to have a column of values in excel that are inputted by the user. Each value is passed to a url (a php script on my own site), which will take that value, and return another value. I need the returned value to show in the next column over. The value returned can just be what the url returns (I won't use the php script for anything other than this project), so looking for tags isn't necessary. Also, I'd prefer to have a button be used to check and recheck the values. If you guys are curious as to what I'm trying to do, I want the excel file to contain a url, and the PHP script will check if it exists in a page, then return a "yes" or "no".

The url might be something like www.mydomain.com/?s=[cell value]

So, cell B1 might have the value of 62. The value of C1 is the result of www.mydomain.com/?s=62. I know my way around PHP very well, but unfortunately, I don't know my way around VBA well at all
