Way to play sound when workbook updated by other users?

Does anyone know how to make excel play a sound file when a shared workbook has been updated by other users?

The idea is that im using the workbook as a prod. schedule. When someone add's new items to the schedule, it updates the (shared workbook), automatically every 5 minutes. When the update hits the schedule that always stays open, id like an audible, so that people know that new items have been added, and they can look to see what was changed. Ideas?
