Button to copy specific cells to another sheet, lock button if cell has text

Hi everyone. I am attempting to make an Excel sheet for a role playing game, and I have had very little luck trying to get done one thing that I want.

I need to be able to record starting values for statistics, which are entered into specific cells. One set of these sets of cells may change down the road, but I'd like to have a record in Excel of what was chosen. I am trying to come up with some way to make a button that will copy the output of a number of cells, into another cell on another sheet. They won't be copying into the exact same cell reference numbers, however. Additionally, I would love to find some way to make the button not function (and give an error message) if a particular cell (the final concatenate cell) has text in it.

Either that, or a way to use an in-cell formula to copy only the text from a cell the first time it's changed/has data entered into it.
