Disable/Enable command button in Excel sheet

Hello,

I have two command buttons that I would like to enable after conditions are met. I've referenced the following thread from 2009, but I have not successfully customized the code to fit what I need, please help!

Commandbutton1: Disable until the cell G18 displays "Validated". G18 is calculated independently using a lookup table on a hidden sheet.

Commandbutton2: Disable until a numeric value is input into cell K18. Please note, K18 has been merged with L18. If this creates an issue for the code please let me know and I will unmerge the cells.

The very last and slightly unrelated item is regarding Autofill. I've added data-validation drop-downs from the Form Controls. Unfortunately, scrolling through multiple values is becoming monotonous. I would like to employ an Autofill option based on the first few characters being typed into the cell if possible. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated!
