Hi all,
I need a push in the right direction on some logic. With a few members help I have created a userform with several checkboxes. Selecting the checkboxes filters a spreadsheet, users click a button, and the results of the spreadsheet filtering display in a window on the form and populate on a new spreadsheet.
If we consider each checkbox as an individual they do as I thought I needed; toggle the Yes/No/Other filters on and off. If my spreadsheet had 20 columns and only one was filtered Yes/No/Other all would be good. Each of my 20 columns has a Yes/No/Other filter option.
Users will be using the form to look at filtered results and then change their input (the checkboxes.) Filtering across the spreadsheet leaves you with options based on the result of the previous filter action. I need to take all of the spreadsheet data into account so users can randomly select or deselect the checkboxes and not be limited by a previous selection. All of the data needs to be considered as users filter their options. As my current approach with the checkboxes logically indicating a Yes/No option I’m stuck at where to head. I’ve searched on and/or operators, unique/distinct values, filter on data sets, ect – I cannot seem to find the logic or approach with the data to give users this functionality.
