Getting live stock quotes from Google Finance from Indian stock exchanges like NSE and BSE

Hi Guys,

Let me first introduce myself, I am Nischal Shetye from India and am a new member to excelforum. i request your help in getting me live stock quotes from google finance website from NSE and BSE.

I did some research and was able to get / modify the attached sheet which gives live quotes from Yahoo Finance. The VBA code extracts live quotes from NYSE ONLY. if you add ticker (stock code) for a scrip at NYSE say "C" for citibank in column A and click refresh button to run the code, it will provide you the live quote for that scrip. The ticker for NSE scrips in Yahoo finance end with a dot NS (eg "ACC.NS"). Now the VBA is not able to update the live feed for NSE or BSE. Further i would like to have live quotes from Google finance instead of Yahoo finance, the ticker for google finance for NSE starts with "NSE:" (eg "NSE:ACC

Can anyone help me modify the VBA code to get the data from Google finance for NSE / BSE please.

One method I know is to first create a portfolio with your preferred stocks in Google finance after logging in with your name.
Then run a web query from excel and pick up your portfolio data from the front page right hand side of the Google Finance page.
The data should be set for "Rich Text type" under "Options" in the Google Finance page.
Also the spreadsheet should also be specified for "time frame", "add new rows" etc in the properties.
