fill column and no fill column macro

Hi

Trying to learn vba and want to make a button to highlight a column, ie fill with colour and unfill.

My first thought was to have a button on row 4 of all columns with a fill no fill button and figure out how to run a macro for that.

I just need to get data from each column quickly and making sure people can do this without looking at other column data. So i can either fill colour in all other columns except for the one im looking at or highlight the one i am looking at.

Is it possible to make a macro/button to fill and unfill the column i click on. Ie click on fill and click on any cell in that column and the same with an unfill button?

Any tips to do this?

I currently just select column click on the style green and then go into colour and unfill.

Brilliant - i have managed to change the colour and apply to other workbooks. It has been given me a better understanding of how to do macros.
