    vlookup based on cell value

    Hello,

I have to put vlookup with a range that is not stable and the range should be up to certain texts in the row.

Like i have the text "Options" in between the rows and my lookup range should stop before this text.

and the range from column A and D and my last row of selection before "Options". Below is the code i used already which selects all the values in the range.

Re: vlookup based on cell value

    Hello,

Thank you for the help. It worked but the range i need to lookup for is from column A to G and in that, the row range should be up to the row that contains "options" . Text "options" is in column B alone in some row. Is there any way to get it.

    thank you.

Find "options" anywhere and return the row:

Or, find "options" only in column B:

Subtract 1 if you don't want to include the last row in the lookup range.
