select and copy cells for a specific value

I would really appreciate some help on this. My spreadsheet has 152 rows and 56 columns. I need to select and copy all values that fall below -1 and paste in another spreadsheet. For example, my spreadsheet is something like this:

A B C
1 -1.2 2.0 -1.3
2 3.0 -1.5 2.0
3 0.5 0.2 0.8
4 0.6 -0.3 -1.0
5 -1.8 2.5 2.4
6 -0.5 2.8 -3.4

I manged to select A1,A5,B2,C1 and C6 but when I try to copy, it gives me following error:

"the command cannot be used on multiple selections"

Any possible way I can do this.
