I have an Excel template which is read only and password protected to stop people overwritting it. What code do I need to run to remove the read only password protection when they save it under a different name?

Sorry, I don't think we're allowed to answer that. If you need to do that and it's legal, then google is your friend.
1. Include a sample workbook with an example of the result you want
2. Use [CODE] and [FORMULA] wrappers for your VBA code or excel formulas
