Merging some data from Column A, some from Column B, and all of Column C--a fun one :)

Hello! I am hoping one of you excel wizards will be able to drop some knowledge on a tricky one. I have a sheet consisting of around 240,000 lines and I need to combine some cells. The sheet has three columns: Manufacturer (Column A), Model (column B), and State (Column C). Whenever column A is the exact same amongst rows, I need to:
1.) Take that column A text (only once) and join it with all of the different column B data. All column B data needs to be separated by a comma and a space.
2.) Seems relatively easy, right? Now here comes the rub. For each new cell created, it can only have at most 71 characters. If/once 71 characters are reached, a new cell should be created with Column A again and the next column B data.
3.) Finally, each newly created cell should have a column next to it on the right indicating what column C data was originally associated with the data.

Think you can figure this one out? If so, I am not only immensely impressed, but extremely appreciative. I have attached a sample sheet of what I have and what I am looking for. Thanks again!!

Given caveat 2 which means that some manufacturers results will be spread over several rows, i.e. you're already accepting some variation, is it not an option to just join col A & B with a comma separator in column D with the relevant state replicated if necessary in column E and leave it at that.

What's the end use of the data?

    Hi Richard,

Good thought, but that is not going to quite work. We need the info in column A to only be placed once in each cell with the applicable info in column B following.

What do you think ?!?!?! Any ideas ?

    Mick,

This seems like it may do the trick. (Embarassingly,) I can't figure out how to apply it to my much larger sheet. Can you please let me know how to take the brilliance you have created and apply it to much larger database?

Thanks! I am really excited to see if this will work.

The code should cover all data in columns "A,B & C ".
What is the range of your data set , and how will the new data effect the present results???

    Hi Mick,

I think that the code will work. I literally cannot figure out how to use your brilliant code. How do I actually use it with my other sheet?
