Spreadsheet Really Slow - Can anyone help speed it up?

Not sure why you can post the workbook. If your workbook does not contain sensitive information, you could try post it on a public file sharing service. If your not comfortable with that you can email it to me and I will try to post it.

I got the workbook and opened it up. I wasn't sure if the workbook was corrupt or not because of the length of time it took to load. Your workbook redefines slow.

It will take some time for me to understand what your doing and how your doing it before I can improve it. Do you have a deadline for this?

lol, like i said, running on a field by yourself and coming second....
basically the VBA code un/hides;
1. Sections Depending on choice of either
Materials & Labour - Unhides All Sections
Labour Only - Hides Materials Sections
Materials Only - Hides Labour Sections
Also As people enter in a new item in each sections row - it un-hides another row

The Searchable Drop down Lists - work of the information tab -
Each "Section" - Search by Parts - On Top half of Information Sheet Alternation Blue and White
& Search by Description - On Bottom half of information sheet
lists for each line defined etc ?

only way i could get the spreadsheet to do what was asked... works.... just REALLY REALLY REALLY slow...

it really started slowing with the VBA code... maybe cut/paste it somewhere to speed it up again?
the searchable drop down lists worked pretty fast prior to VBA

Deadline... end of month? if possible?

Once I am familiar with the code, I can then start improving the performance. I don't think it will take till the end of the month. I think a week if things go well.
