    Showing a default file name in GetOpenFilename dialogue box?

    I have the following code for assigning a filename to a string:

    Please Login or Register  to view this content.
    Is there anyway to have the default value in the file selection box be something such as the previous value of stPartnerFile. This would save the user (me) having to navigate to the file each time if it is the same file as previously used.

    Do you have the filepath and filename of the previous stPartnerFile anywhere that you could link the code to? In a variable or a cell in your workbook?

    I don't unfortunately. I'd be happy at this point having a static "suggested" file name there.

    Use instead the FileDialog property (see in VBA help) …
