Macro for worsheet names based on cell values

    Afternoon All,

I am looking for a little help, I am currently building a customer spreadsheet and need new worksheets for each customer.

I have 190 customers listed in Column A and need individual worksheets for these.

can anybody please provide a Macro for this function?

    Many Thanks
    Ross

I would think you may run into memory issues with that many tabs in one workbook but am not sure.

You are wanting a macro that will add a tab for each person in your list and name the tab after them correct?
Are you wanting to delete out existing tabs each time or check to make sure the customer does not already exist?
Despite the high cost of living, it remains very popular.

    Hi Hawkeye,

I was concerned about the memory issue, but we'll soon see

yes, Add a tab per person. there are no duplicates in the list, so that is not a problem.

    Thanks
    Ross

Sorry for taking so long, something like this should work. Adding/editing tabs is not my strong suit so perhaps someone else will have more streamlined code.

This will take all names from column A starting in row 1 from the first sheet in the workbook and make a new tab for it until it hits a blank row and then stop.
