Yes but that does not answer the question.

What is the value of sURL when the code fails? Looking at the code you posted I would suggest it contains nothing. But you could have other code which you have not posted that actual sets a value to the variable.

you can not simply replace sURL in your recorded macro code and expect it to work.

You need to put something in the sURL variable and then run the code.
