Angry Stopping Excel 2007 from displaying the Save YES/NO/CANCEL box EVERY time with no changes.

Yes EVERY time I open (not change anything), my Excel spreadsheet template that I use on a daily basis, I get the Save YES / NO / CANCEL box popup.
I don't care why it's doing this (I have read EVERY single forum regarding this issue) and have used EVERY VBA code in existance and yet after I attempt
to close my spreadsheet with no changes made it asks me to save. The vba codes makes ZERO difference. I still get that damn Save box popup.
I'm so totally over this. I don't want to be continually reminded to Save even though NO changes have been made. I simply want to open, have a quick
    look then close.

Like I said, the VBA codes make no difference. It's like Excel 2007 has a mind of its own and refuses to obey the codes!!

    Hi tron2005,

    Got your point,
This behavior occurs when something in the file has changed. Many times the user doesn't realize there are elements in the file that have been updated or calculated. Here are some examples of common scenarios:
There is a volatile function used in the file. Examples of volatile formulas are listed in the more information section of this article.
The file has been opened in a newer version and formulas have been calculated. See article in the more information section.
A formula that contains a link to a formula in another workbook and that uses volatile functions
    Linked pictures
    Iterative formulas
Charts that are on chart sheets or that are embedded into worksheets but that have their source data in another workbook
VBA code that updates the workbook

I would suggest to try by turning the xlcalculation to manual via open workbook module for this particular workbook. which you are often opening.
But This would cause formula is not getting updated. or you may alter the code to suit your need.

Conclusion, I believe this is because of excel is getting updated with the above reasons.

Hope it helps , give a try and do let us know after investigating your file and try.
