How to... Assign a dynamic range as a table

I have this spreadsheet which will scrap weather information from an XML file. This information is paired with some formulas to get another value. From this a pivot table is created which is then updated.

My question is, how can I make it so that the range that is used by the weather information is defined automatically as a table for the pivot table to get its data from. The range is dynamic since the output from the XML changes once in a while so there might be more or less rows depending on the day.

Also as you can see from the dummy file the dummy formulas right next to the weather information correspond to the row it is in. How can I make it so that this formula is applied to the rows used by the weather information so that there is no empty spaces. Right now the pivot table (not included in the dummy file) is using the range from A4 to A104000 so that it doesn't leave out any data and the formulas have to be dragged down by the user to include the new weather information.

    Thank you in advance!

    Hi,

So your pivot is based on table? (once you say so, once on rows 4 - 100000). If on table, which you create with Ctrl+T or with simple macro like:

then indeed after you import new data from XML the table size do not adjust automatically.

But you can adjust it with such macro:

which could be either called from your update procedure or even included in it:
