Hide Columns automatically based on year month(YYYY-mm)

    Dear all,

I'm new to this Macro programming. I was going through one of the report in which I have to first unhide Current and upcoimg month and then hide upcoming month. Example

    2014-08 2014-09 2014-10 Total
ColA ColB Col C ColD ColE Col F ColG ColH Col I ColJ ColK ColL
    # of Tkts # of Tkts linked # of KBs # of Tkts # of Tkts linked # of KBs # of Tkts # of Tkts linked # of KBs # of Tkts # of Tkts linked # of KBs

If I have to run a report for this week fortnight I unhide from Col D to Col L and input the data below D2,E2 and F2 and after completing the input of records hide Col G - Col L.

Do I have to Insert three columns every month or just hide and unhide of the columns can resolve the porblem.

Please help in resovling the query.

Please post an example workbook, no one wants to look at an attempt to transcribe a database.

if you store your data verticaly (in a table) then you are able to use pivot table for your solution.

In that case there is no need to hide or unhide columns or rows.
Notice my main language is not English.

I appreciate it, if you reply on my solution.

If you are satisfied with the solution, please mark the question solved.

My Problem here is the data is coming from two source and through countif function I'm collating the data. If I can use Macro to Hide the coming year and than use only which is active Month to be shown.
