Hi world
I am quite new at this,
I wish to add to my macro:-
Even if you are unable to help on all parts, help with just inserting blank rows above my reference row would be a great help.
A1 is my header
Columns are sorted A to Z
I have a sheet A to W ( columns numbers may expand )
I sort rows based on Columns 1st G - 2nd Q - 3rd I, down to a dummy reference row ( finding text in cell "a" )
The reference row moves depending on a variable number of data rows.
I want to insert a blank colored row on each name change in column "G", Grouping same names. ( on each name group, different row color required)
Then subtotal grouped name sums in column "W" in a colored cell ( all subtotal cells to have same color)
The kick - I only want to sort above my reference row, as rows of data below the reference row must be kept in the same sheet.
Rows below the reference row, do not need rows inserted or subtotaled.
Any help would be greatly appreciated, I have with my limited know how, been at this for days.
with this part done, I would have my very first working macro.
Sheet column, as attached.
Thanks.
