Drop down menu that allows cells across a workbook to be converted to a different unit

Hello All,

I have what I think is a complex excel problem. I have a workbook that has multiple sheets where various data is entered in certain units of measure. Is there a way to create a drop down menu to allow the selection of either (standard or metric) and have the cell units across the workbook update?

Also, is it possible to have data that is entered into the cells automatically convert between units of measure depending on the selection in the drop down menu (standard/metric)?
