So I am just now learning about macros and how beneficial they can be.
I seem to know what macros are capable of but do not have the knowledge to create one. I can record a simple macro but what I am needing goes much further.
Basically I have a workbook with two worksheet; one labeled "Borrowing Base Detail" and the other labeled "Released Units".
The "Borrowing Base Detail" tab has multiple rows of headings so the data input does not begin until column C and row 7. The "Released Units" tab will have the same headings.
What I need the macro to do is:
1) if the data in each row for column E on the detail tab says "Remove", then copy the whole row and paste it on the next available row on the released tab. I want to paste the values only.
2) insert another row on the bottom of detail tab but I also want it to include the formulas, conditional formatting, etc that are used within the detail tab
On the detail tab my data input fields end on row 67 as row 68 sums the columns and I then have lookup tables below that, that drives most of the formulas in rows 6 through 67 on the detail tab. I would want the inserted row to be added prior to the data sum row. Is it also possible to have the # of rows added equal the # of rows that were just deleted? Additionally, row 67 just happens to be the ending row of data entry on this particular sheet. There could be instances where move data rows are required. In these cases I would just want the newly inserted rows to be added prior to the data sum row.
I will then apply this macro to a button as the workbook is intended to be used by others. So once they change the status in column E to "remove", they can just have all move to the other worksheet with one click.
I would also like to have another macro to provide two print options. Again, I would assign a the macro to a button for each option.
1) to print all columns up to and including column AT
2) to print all columns up to and including column BI
I currently have it set where rows 1 - 6 and columns A - N are repeated when printing with columns A - AT all printed on page one and columns A - N plus AU - BI all printed on page two.
