ComboBox linked to different cell

Hello,

I was wondering if someone could help me please.

I have an excel spreadsheet and what im wanting is, when someone types in a certain number into a cell I want a combo box/dropdown to appear in the cell to the left of it with a list of options that they can choose from. This list of options depends upon the number that is typed into the cell (there will be different options appear depending on the number that is typed in).

Does anyone know if this is possible to do? And if so any ideas on how to do it? Any help is greatly appreciated.

You will find attached a solution to your request.

Most of the work goes on in the Lists Tab but as you can see you select a number in B3 and depending on what number you select a different list of names appears in the Combo Box obviously you can change the lists to suit your requirements
