hello, I'm creating a spreadsheet that requires a sort of editable chart.
for example on the left, the excersise and on the right the weight used (this column would need to be editable)
but dependant on what is chosen from the drop down list, a new set of exercises is chosen. this set of exercises would be pre made and present on another sheet ready to be drawn in.
if this is not enough to know what i mean i will whip up a basic plan document. thank you for any help.
A simple offset function would do that for you.
Post your data onto a spreadsheet. then in a specific cell on that sheet or another enter the option you want to use.
write an offset formula to copy the required data into a specific area of your spreadsheet.
Create your chart using this new area [ created by offset ]
so now if you change one cell the chart changes.
