I need a macro for autofiltering a column and based on that i need to filter another column corresponding to that. For example, I have ID in column A ... that has to be filtered and in Column B the steps has to be filtered. I have added the xl file with input and output tabs. Input is the raw data and output file is the exact file needed. I have given only example file. ....help me on this and thanks for ur help in advance
You say you need a macro to autofilter your data, but if that's what you want, why not just manually add excel data filters to the sheet and select what you want? I suspect that autofilter isn't really what you're after though, because your Output example isn't filtered data. It's data from the Input sheet, but with half of the 61425103 rows retained (no indication of how to determine which ones to delete), and all of the 61394362 rows retained. Also, do you want the filtering to occur on the Input sheet, or copied to the Output sheet based on some unspecified criteria? Please clarify.
