vba to open, edit, save and close files on sharepoint = very slow :(

    Hi all,

Having some trouble with code opening files off sharepoint being very very slow.

The code loops through about 12 files opening each file off sharepoint then doing some cell editing, saving and closing each file one after the other.

It takes about 6 minutes at the moment to loop through the 12 files and the bulk of the time is down to it taking about 20 seconds to open each file off sharepoint.

Is there a faster way to open files off sharepoint or possibly code which can make changes to the files without physically opening them?
