How do I add a number from each Hourly data to 1/4 hourly about 8,000 times?

I am trying to update hourly usage information for every 1/4 hour. For example Hour 1 has 100 kWh and I need to add it to 4 - 15 minute intervals. The way the math works is from the 100 kWh I add 25 kWh in the first 4 - 15 minute periods (cells) that already have a number of kWhs in them. Then the 2nd hour might have 400 kWh and the next 4 - 15 minute periods (cells).

I have 8760 hours of different data in a column to add to each 4 groups of 15 minute fields/cells which are in a column. So the length of the column is 8760 x 4 = 35,040 fields. I don't want to do this manually of course.

I'd appreciate some kind of formula or macro to solve this.

    Regards, Louis59

Attach a sample workbook. Make sure there is just enough data to demonstrate your need. Include a BEFORE sheet and an AFTER sheet in the workbook if needed to show the process you're trying to complete or automate. Make sure your desired results are shown, mock them up manually if necessary.

    Remember to desensitize the data.

I deleted this as attaching a spreadsheet to better show. I am new here. I really appreciate how responsive this forum is.

I am not understanding where the values in Column K (which I assume are the expected results) are being derived. Please explain your worksheet in a little bit of detail so we can understand what you are attempting. It is still not clear to me.

I am going to try to upload a new file that shows a sample of what I'm looking for. Of course I have done it manually, but it should help understanding.
    Thanks for your feedback. ExcelForumHourDataTo15MinInterval.xlsx

ExcelForumHourDataTo15MinInterval.xlsxColumn D is the interval time marker. If you click on cell D11, you see 20130403001500 for the first 15 minutes of that day. This field would align with cell J11 which is the same date but the first hour. The cell K11 is the amount of kWh in that hour.

I want to add 1/4 the amount in row K to the first 4 amounts in column A11 to A14 which provides us with the correct total for that hour in column A. Then we want the 2nd hour amount in K12 divide by 4 and add it to A15 to A18. And so on. I am updating the spreadsheet and adding to this reply.
