Need VBA code to scrape data into excel from list of websites

I'm trying to scrape a few variables from a set list of websites into excel. It's from an industry association's website and they've told me that I'd have to pay for an excel list; otherwise, they said I can just click on each link and copy/paste the info myself -- not fun. I'm a novice at VBA and I'm trying to learn more, but unfortunately, I have a hard time understanding code unless it's well-commented. I could use some help writing code to import these variables into columns in an excel sheet.
