Question Autoset Slicer date field Macro after data entered

    Good Afternoon,

I looked to see if someone raised this question before and couldnt find it. I have a raw data sheet where I have someone enter in data. I have an auto time/date stamp after they have entered their data. On a separate sheet I have a pivot table and slicer for the time/date stamp. I have a macro with a button on the sheet for someone to email the sheet which saves, attaches and emails. What I would like to have is the pivot table save to date/time stamp of today, the date they entered in the most recent data. Is that possible? If so, how? I can get it to select a certain date but not the "today" date.

    Thanks.

    Sincerely,

    j

you could use a private function like selection change and restricted to the column (or even cell) of entry that attaches the today stamp in the appropriate cell.
