Automatically add next line to table when typing in new line when sheet is protected.

Not sure if the heading explains it all. I have searched and found lots of info, but I still can't work out how to do this.

I have a .xltm workbook which anyone who requires the form can download viar a sharepoint site. Two of the sheets have tables, which is where my problem happens.

Sometimes only five lines of data may need to be entered, others may need to enter 50? This automatic table works a treat, that is, until I protect the sheet. Then the functionality stops. I have looked everywhere for some code or to find another way around, but am now lost.

Looking for some guidance and help.

    Thanks. K

You are wanting to edit the worksheet when it is protected??? Can you explain more of exactly what you are wanting?

What I think you are wanting is to be able to open the table file and need say 10 lines of data to be entered and it allow you to enter those 10 lines only???

Thanks Cory0789. I would like the table to work exactly like it does without the protection - is that possible? But I need to protect the sheet so formula's cannot be overtyped.

Not sure how to post the sheet for you to look at (will copy paste that particular worksheet into another workbook so that you don't get the whole caboodle). Will have to read up on how to get the sample on here.

If you need that why not just protect the formulas only... here is a guide on how to do it...
