Yep, Microsoft had an update and screwed up every bodies stuff.

Just one special note:
When I first discovered the error, I was trying to draw a combobox onto the worksheet, and kept getting a msg"not supported" or something like that.
I closed excel
I went to windows "run" box and typed in %temp% to open the temp folder.
I selected everything and hit the delete key.
Of course some things will not delete if you have other programs open.
I opened excel and was able to draw in a combobox again. So anyway, that worked for me.

Wow, what a way to make a mistake - what would the resolution be or did I miss that

Cannot believe this! I teach maths and have made literally scores of excel files including these buttons; I make them available free via my website. So now none of them will work!
Thank you dave for the update, and hope Microsoft act pronto!

Sorry having a bad time with this, in the link it does not mention Office 365 Small Business Premium on Windows 8.1 64bit
Attach a sample workbook. Make sure there is just enough data to demonstrate your need. Include a BEFORE sheet and an AFTER sheet in the workbook if needed to show the process you're trying to complete or automate. Make sure your desired results are shown, mock them up manually if necessary.
Remember to desensitize the data.
Click on GO ADVANCED and use the paperclip icon to open the upload window.

@davesexcel: thanks for the tip. I was suffering with the issue in Excel 2007. However, when I searched, I didn't find any .exd files to delete. Deleting everything in the Temp directory worked though.
Thanks again, TMS
