Updating multiple connections to SQL Server

I currently have a dashboard which provides details on individual customers. The dashboard is populated by data from SQL Server which is updated by calling stored procedures through multiple Excel to SQL Server connections. Currently I update each connection to the new customer name as I call the stored procedure. Is it possible to write a piece of code to update each connection simultaneously, or even better, select the customer from a list which then updates the data?

In Excel 2010 through:

Data -> Connections

Using a database connection, calling the stored procedure in the command text field of the definitions tab of the connection properties using SQL.
