Jumping to a hyperlink using a string, refreshing active and updating inactive sheets.

    Dear all

Thanks to the help that I have obtained from this site I have 'nearly' managed to write a little estimator to help me price work. However, I am stuck on two or three items that i cannot solve.

My spreadsheet works on five sheets at once.

On Type sheet, I create a type of wall or floor (I have created three examples; RT1 WT1 and FT1).

On the prices page, I have scheduled prices of materials. These are linked to the Types page.

When I place TP1 or WT1 in the Tags column of Sheet1, I want the other columns adjacent to fill in. When I put an amount in the Amount column, I get a price.

I then go to the materials page and I get a schedule of materials.

The whole thing works and I am so chuffed. Thanks again.

However, my spreadsheet suffers from these problems which I am struggling with.

    1. when I type TP1 (say) on Sheet1, I want a hyperlink to the Type. It doesn't work. I have put a MsgBox at the code relating to the hyperlink.
    2. When I have typed TP1 and leave the cell, I want the row to update immediately. At the moment, I have to go back and click on TP1 for it to work. This also applies when I enter an amount.
    3. When I change a price in the price sheet (say Slates = £2.18 from £1.18), I want the other sheets to update too.

I have left two blank Types. Click on each and put in some amounts to see my problems please.

    All advice appreciated.

    Daniel
