Post Find date with different formatting (cells.find)

    Hi,

Is it possible to find a value (date) with a different formatting?

If I format the date 1.feb from format "d. mmm." to "general number" formatting it will return 42036.

What I need is to find the date 1. feb. based on the number 42036.

    I have tried this:

Cell D4 has the value 42036 and i need to find "1. feb." in column A.

If I do it the other way around it work. Like:

Please Login or Register to view this content.
Where the cell A27 contains the date 1. feb. formatted as "d. mmm.".

I'm not sure if I make myself clear, but I hope someone can help

For some reason the code below works in the debugger but not if I assign the macro to a button.

If I put the code to an ActiveX button it works too.

Can someone explain that to me?
