Finding the Oldest Date in a Column using a VBA macro

Hopefully an easy question but one that doesn’t seem to have an answer that I have found… at least not one in VBA which I need.

A filter criteria that I use generates a group of columns, one of which is dates. What I need to do is find the oldest date so that it can be copied to a particular cell for yet another filter process. As I said, I need a macro solution as the target cell receives input from several different sources.

Anyway, I want to thank you for your assistance. Sheepishly I must admit that I had found this very solution previously but due to a syntax error on my part, I could never make it work so discarded it as just more internet junk...
