    Thumbs up Value based remarks

    Hi Experts,

I need to update column B basis the value of Column A using VBA code

i.e If A1 has positive value then B1 to be updated as Positive similarly if A2 has negative value B2 to be updated as Negative.

Is there any way other then using IF condition like =if(A1>0,"Positive","Negative) in VBA function.

    Regards,
    Prabhu

Attach a sample workbook. Make sure there is just enough data to demonstrate your need. Include a BEFORE sheet and an AFTER sheet in the workbook to show the process you're trying to complete or automate. Make sure your desired results are shown, mock them up manually if necessary.

    Remember to desensitize the data.

Click on GO ADVANCED and use the paperclip icon to open the upload window.

    Re: Value based remarks

I admit, I was hoping your sample workbook would reveal you wanted something more complex than your question presented. But no, you just want the words "Positive/Negative" to appear in column B.

The formula you already presented is perfect and fast. I fail to see the point of introducing VBA?
