    Dynamic Inventory List

I am looking to have an inventory list that subtracts from the "in stock" section and adds to the "inventory sold" list. Example: I have two columns, one for how many bottled waters I have (1000) and the other for how many bottled waters were sold (292). When I enter 292 in the "inventory sold" section, the 1000 from "in stock" drops to 708 automatically.

I've been looking around forums for a few days, and I find a lot of solutions that are "close but no cigar."

    Any help will be appreciated.

    Thank you in advance!

    Re: Dynamic Inventory List

    Here are 2 possible solutions:

One with an extra table to hold the initial stock and any purchases and a list of items for data validation.
    AGMAE INVENTORY2015_formulas.xlsx

And one using an event macro to subtract the items sold from the items in stock.
    AGMAE INVENTORY2015_EventMacro.xlsm

    First one is recommended.
