Match data from a Column and delete unwanted data

    Hi Guys
I am looking for a little help to a problem I have
    I have a spread sheet Called ( JY ) with columns A – K
And also another sheet called ( Live ) with columns A – H
Both sheets are in the same folder

What I am looking for is a Macro I can attached to a button on my JY sheet
When clicked the macro will look down Column K on the JY sheet, and match it against Column C on the Live Sheet
If the data in Column K on the JY Sheet does not appear on Column C on the Live Sheet, I would like to delete the entire row A - K

So all I am looking for is to leave a list on JY sheet of data that is on the Live Sheet

    Any help would be great

Re: Match data from a Column and delete unwanted data

    Hi John

Thanks for the input but this is not working correctly

What I need is for the macro in the JY Sheet, when run to look down Column C on the sheet ( Live) matching the data against column K on the JY sheet.

If it finds a match it will keep that Row, if it does not it will delete that row

The final result will be, the Data left on the JY sheet, will only be data that is somewhere on the Live sheet, all other rows on the JY sheet will be deleted

    Hope that makes sense?
