Macro/VBA Code that will trigger Macro for next tab selected:

    Hello,
I have a spreadsheet that has multiple (8) Macros inside of it. These macros are all set to run on the tab that they are triggered from (nothing is tab specific). This spreadsheet will have multiple tabs with the same functionality, but different data.

The problem I'm running into is that I want to add 8 buttons (assign macro to shape), and I'd like all of the buttons to be on a separate tab. So I'm thinking the user would click the button from the "buttons" tab, then select the tab they'd like the Macro to run in; the user selecting a new tab (different from the "buttons" tab they started on) would trigger the macro to start running.

Does anyone know how this could be accomplished?

    Thanks,

    Chad

    Lokesh,
Unfortunately I am in a foreign country with a work computer that blocks this site and an iPad I cannot upload files from.

This request does not require any data manipulation, so I think maybe we can solve for it without uploading anything.

Here's another way explain what I'm looking for:
Let's say I have 5 tabs in my worksheet (there could be more or less). I have a tab that only contains buttons that launch Macros (there are 8 different Macros). The macros need to run on the sheet that the user selects somehow- the names of the sheets will always change.

Less tech saavy people will use this spreadsheet, so I'm thinking I have to stick with buttons.

I'm thinking the user will click the macro, but the Macro will not activate until they select the tab they'd like it to run on (by clicking the tab). I'm open to different ways of accomplishing this.

None of the macros reference a particular tab or tab name, they will always run on the tab they are launched from.

    Thanks in advance,

    Chad
