Removed Missing Reference - Is this unique to workbook or to PC

    Hi

I posted earlier as I was receiving a compile error when running my user form on another PC. It was suggested that this may be a Missing Reference.

I have followed instructions and I have now unchecked the Missing Reference 'Microsoft Windows Common Controls - 2 6.0 (SPS) under Tools > References. This appears to have resolved the problem.

If I now save the workbook, will this now work on any PC that would have this problem or is the unchecking solely fixing it on this PC? Also, is the unchecking likely to cause any problems that I'm not aware of? All seems ok at the moment!

    Thank you for any advice!

The Set reference is only for that particular PC.
    Cheers!

Thank you. So just to clarify, if I send the form to a user that has the same Excel set up as the PC on which I have resolved the problem, it will still fail? Do you know of any way I can resolve this problem? Can I for instance permanently uncheck Microsoft Windows Common Controls - 2 6.0 (SPS) using vba on start up?
