Trying to create a custom import layout for a log file

Hello all,
As the title says, I am trying to import a log file from a program into excel. If I posted this in the wrong section, please let me know where I should put it and I post in the correct section.

I am new to customizing excel documents and templates so please be gentle. I have a sample of the log file, what it looks like after a basic import into excel, and a sample of what I would like it to look like (poorly created but mainly to get the visual across). If I can get some tips or pointers as to what I should be looking into to make this work, or if I can get it to work, it would be much appreciated.

Note:
log.txt is a copy from the original log.lo8 file that the system saves.
1.xlsx is the default import layout
2.xlsx is visually the desired import layout (though I am open to suggestions as to make it look better)
