Macros gone saving one computer to another.

Hi. I'm a newbe. Got a problem when I save a worksheet with a dozen small macros to a memory stick. I can use the memory stick copy and run the worksheet ok. When I use the stick on another computer with a copy of the same Office 2007 program I get a pop up "This workbook contains one or more links that cannot be updated. Tried all edit links no joy. Now tearing hair out. Any help out there?

Further to above: File saved in Excel Macro-Enabled Workbook.
Source computer Vista. Target computer Windows 7. Could this be the problem?

If you are absolutely sure you don't need the links go to your data tab, click edit links and then break links.

Actually re-reading the OP's post I think it might be what they meant by

(and doesn't explain the title of the post of "macros gone", might be handy to know what file format the files were saved as when saving to the memory stick)
