Question Mail Merge - Merge fields lister macro

    Hello,

I have been looking for this macro since weeks but I'm unable to find one that would give the required results.

I have few MS word documents that I use for mail merge and these documents contain several merge fields. I am looking for a macro that would list down all the merge fields that are active in the word templates available in a folder where column A would list down the merge field name and column B would list down the name of the file that was associated.

I would appreciate if someone could help me/route me to my query. Thanks in advance.

Both the links are step by step tutorial & should help you.

Feel free to write back if the above doesn't help.

Re: Mail Merge - Merge fields lister macro

Ashish, Thank you for your reply but the two links you provided show how to perform a mail merge which is not what I am looking for. I am looking for a way where I can export all the merge fields that are currently available in the word document for eg <<MergeField Name>> into an excel sheet. Can you help me with that?
