Mutiple, differing email notifications for emergencies?

Hi All,
I work for a security operation center and as part of our job, we send out email notifications of emergencies that happen on the 180 sites we monitor. right noe I have all email notifications saved as .OFT file (4000 different ones) and hyperlinked in SharePoint. Needless to say, its quite a task to update all the .OFT files with various personnel updates that happen throughout the year. I would like to know if there is a way I can have one Excel document listing all personnel for each emergency that VBA code can be written to query the document, load the email/sms addresses into an email with a standard body message and then, upon launching from a hyperlink, the email opens up so it can be modified with pertinent info before sending.

HI,

Welcome to the forum.
You can create a Excel file that has a listing go email address. You can also create a code that will populate the body of an email.
Now we will need to know what you want the file to look. Can you make an example file? If you can this will help the forum members.
The question I have you mentioned "Hyperlink". Are you wanting a command button to launch the Email? Or, is the "Link" from a different source?

Hi Charles, we have close to 200 sites with 25+ emergencies notifications per site, each with differing recipients. What I am thinking is that the recipient's names will go in column A, emails addresses in B, SMS addresses in C. Each site will be a different sheet.

So for example, sheet1 (Site XYZ), medical emergency recipients listed in rows 3-10, power outage recipients listed in rows 13-23, flooding recipients listed in rows 26-36, etc.

Thanks for the post. This helps with the excel portion. But, when you mentioned "Query the Document" what document are you referring to?
